  • Are some things really better left unsaid?

I posted something on a forum a while ago, and it was particular to a country. I wrote it in a way that a citizen from that country would think (and I know I'm correct in it because I've been there many times and I have family over there), yet someone replied spouting some BS about how "we shouldn't tolerate something just because of a country's ideals". I have so many things I would like to say to this one-track minded beez, but I become exhausted just thinking about. So is it really worth it? I feel that if I don't rebut, the person will think I'm backing down from my viewpoint when I'm not. I'm so tired of people thinking that the ideals of the U.S. should be the way all of the countries all over the world should act... WAKE UP.

  • What is your favorite type of TV show [reality, drama, comedy]? What show's your favorite, and why?

I'd have to say that my favorite type of tv show is a combination of drama and comedy. AHH - I don't have a favorite show, but I do have a bunch of favorites haha.

MODERN FAMILY - Quite possibly THE most continuously hilarious show I have ever seen.

Burn Notice - It's dramatic, suspenseful, and witty. The last season's finale was so crazy intense and suspenseful that I seriously felt on edge while I was watching it.

Nikita - Kind of a hook, line, and sinker type of show. It's extremely intense and enthralling.

White Collar - Same reasons as Burn Notice.

Parenthood - It plays music that I actually listen to (Devendra Banhart and Monsters of Folk, say what?), and each of the characters is so well-played that you can actually feel their emotions. When you're watching a episode, it just feels real.

Community - This show always surprises me with how funny each episode actually ends up being. Haha, and I love Troy and Abed... they crack me up.

Hawaii Five-0 - The story lines feel fresh, and the chemistry of the entire cast is really nice and refreshing. It's funny too.

House - I used to really hate this show because Dr. House annoyed the crap out of me, but I've come to love his humor. I love the suspense as well.

Psych - Oh, Psych. You are too funny.

It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia - The characters are outstandingly hilarious.

The Fresh Prince of Bel Air - CLASSIC. Enough said.

The Simpsons - Same as above. It's a classic.

I Love Lucy - I always get a laugh out of the predicaments Lucy gets herself into.

    Wow, that's a lot.

I just answered this Featured Question; you can answer it too!
